Leave maintenance mode 

Enable overlay filesystem 
and reboot with fresh empty overlay.

Rsync all overlay filesystem changes
to lower and reboot.

This makes all changes remanent.

Overlay filesystem test

Show current state of overlayfs.

The boot menu will not work until
overlayfs-enable is done!
Disable overlay filesystem and reboot,
this corresponds to permanent maintenance mode.
